Zybach 80th Birthday Party/PhD Celebration
Where's Otto?
On July 17, 2004, friends and family of John Henry "Red" Zybach and his son, Bob Zybach, gathered at Paul and Cindy Gorow's new home near Forest Grove to celebrate John's 80th birthday (July 12) and Bob's PhD walk (June 15).
Mid-July Zybach birthday/family gatherings have been a family tradition for several decades. It likely started sometime in the late 1930s due to the coincidental July birthdays of John Zybach, Sr., "Junior" (third from left), and Judy (fifth from left, back row).
