Chicago Institute of Art and Jersey Boys

After visitng the Bean, Bob's brother Jeff gave us tickets to the Jersey Boys play for that evening. Because the play did not start for several hours, we used the time to visit the Chicago Art Museum, which was featuring art from Africa at that time. We spent most of our time in the classic art galleries, where we viewed pictures by Van Gogh, Monet, several Dutch masters, and others. We also were able to spend time at the African exhibit, which contained numerous sculptures of snakes and leopards in great detail from the 19th century.

Jersey Boys was a Broadway play and was sold out. Our tickets were front row balcony seats. Singing and acting were great, and the play was another highlight of our trip.
